New Product:  One – Saw Mill Manager

We are happy to bring to our customers the new, great app: One – Saw Mill Manager!

The purpose of this App was to create the possibility for all Saw Mill managers to manage flitches comfortably from a mobile device without a need to always be in a front of a PC. It can save your time and let you be more independent.

For the moment there are 2 languages possible: English and German (more upon request).

The app allows you to scan the barcode either with the built-in scanner or with the camera. You can also manually introduce a flitch number in order to get all the information required. For this app you will need to be sure that you have a good internet connection as it can only work online.

FAQ’s

Which printers will be recognized and possible to use in the app?

You can only choose a printer that is in your network. If the printer will not be available please contact your IT department.

What if I will be missing some function or need more options in this App?

How the App Works

We developed this as a multiplatform application and can work on Stage Now with a Production Device and iOS Apple devices.

Available functions:

• Reprint production code (you need to manually select a printer which is close to you and has the correct sized paper or labels)
• Change thickness
• Reprint log label
• Change measurement
• Reprint sample label
• Change no. of slices
• Scrap a flitch
• Change product type
• Add a reject reason which is especially helpful to partly scrap flitches
• Change production states
• Change production length

There are flexible training options with this App, on site (once the COVID-19 Situation is over), on Skype or we have a ‘How to’ guide on our TIMBERplus WIKI page.
