As every year, we collaborated with an article on the Furnier Magazin edition 2024, which was released on Friday, 6th of December. For our customers who are unable to access the magazine or do not speak German, we’d like to provide a brief summary of the article.

Frischeis, which led to the creation of the TIMBERplus Web Solution—a flexible, web-based suite designed to streamline operations for businesses of all sizes. This solution enables efficient management of veneer, sawn timber, and layon processes, bringing professional-grade tools within reach even for smaller companies.
The TIMBERplus Web Solution integrates advanced inventory management, connecting critical data like materials, processes, and images into one seamless system. This connectivity ensures better decision-making across purchasing, inventory, production, and sales, with real-time insights that enhance workflows.
We also developed the TIMBERplus Loading Solution to simplify and speed up shipping processes. This tool allows businesses to create digital manifests with scanning and image capabilities, ensuring accurate and traceable shipments while reducing manual input. By integrating these features, we help our customers improve reliability and efficiency at every stage of their operations.
Flexibility and customization are at the core of our approach. We design solutions that seamlessly fit the unique requirements of our customers, regardless of operational challenges or space constraints.
For example, Enno Roggemann needed an innovative measurement solution due to limited space. In response, we developed a setup using a standard camera mounted above a table, paired with the TIMBERplus Veneer Photo App. This solution enables precise image capture and auto-cropping for veneer bundles, ensuring traceability and efficient stock management without requiring extensive infrastructure. Roggemann also utilizes TIMBERplus Web Veneer to manage purchasing, inventory, labeling, and sales, streamlining operations effortlessly.
Koch Furniere, a TIMBERplus customer for over a decade, recently expanded their system to include the TIMBERplus Sawn Timber and Forklift solutions. After modernizing their processes and reorganizing their warehouse, they are enhancing stock management, measurement, grading, and sales workflows to achieve greater efficiency.
In the U.S., Interwood Forest Products leverages TIMBERplus for sample inventory management. The system allows them to create and distribute samples from the same batch without disrupting core stock, boosting market reach and workflow efficiency. They also benefit from the TIMBERplus Vision solution, which delivers high-quality images for quality control and customer transparency, ensuring accurate and reliable sample tracking.

Now, with the HUB solution, the entire process is automated. Real-time data exchange covers every stage—from log purchasing and receiving to production, measurement, and final delivery. This seamless integration eliminates the need for manual file handling, enabling faster and more reliable collaboration between mills and suppliers.
